important Information
GETTING TO THE CEREMONY
The Fig Tree Restaurant is located in Ewingsdale, just off the main road into Byron Bay. The ceremony and reception will all be held there, so you'll be able to relax from the moment you are on your way. There is no parking available, so we have arranged transport for guests to and from the venue (details below).
RECOVERY DETAILS
We would love to extend the celebrations with you all, and have booked our recovery for The Brunswick Heads Hotel on Saturday 12 September (the day after the wedding). We will confirm the kickoff time closer to the big day.
ACCOMODATION
We recommend staying in Brunswick Heads as a first preference as we want to share the whole weekend with you! Our recovery will be held at The Brunswick Heads Hotel the day after the wedding (Saturday 12 September) and we would love it to be within walking distance for everyone! If accommodation is hard to come by in Brunswick Heads, Byron Bay will also suit as Ubers and Taxis will be able to get you to where you need to be for the weekend. The bus will pick up and drop off from a location in both Byron and Brunswick on our wedding day.
TRANSPORT
Unfortunately there is no parking available for guests at the venue, so we have arranged for a bus to pick you up and drop you home at the end of the night! Pick up times and locations will be posted below, so keep an eye out for these details in the leadup to the wedding. There will be pickup locations both in Byron Bay and Brunswick Heads. Ensure you arrive 10 minutes prior to the meeting time as the bus is on a strict schedule! Byron Bay pick up details: TBC Brunswick heads pick up details: TBC
LITTLE ONES
As much as we love your mini-people, we would love for their parents to have a night off. With strict numbers, we unfortunately won't be able to accomodate the littlies on the day of the wedding, but more the merrier for the recovery!
DRESS CODE
We want you all feeling your best on the day, so pick your best dress/suit and get ready to feel fancy! If you need some guidance, we would suggest formal attire and have attached a link to our pinterest board to help with any decision-making. https://pin.it/2hBG1Q9ft
PLUS ONES
Unfortunately we won't be able to accomodate plus ones on the day. The Fig Tree is strict on numbers, and we are at capacity! Let us know if you would like to bring anyone special to the recovery, and we can make something work.

We don’t expect gifts but if you would like to contribute something, there will be a wishing well on the day
